Birthh (at the registry office, Alice Bisi) returns with the new single Trumanavailable in digital stores from January 9, 2026. The song (Carousel Records) is a further preview of the first album in Italian by the Tuscan singer-songwriter and producer, expected for next spring.
In Truman, Birthh addresses the theme of one's individuality. It reflects on the value of the time that everyone dedicates to themselves. It invites us not to live according to others, like pawns in a society of automatons.
In the previous single Little Ratthe singer-songwriter had described the emotional tensions linked to the New York metropolis that dazzles you with great promises, but then leaves you on the sidelines. Now, Birthh offers a delicate and introspective song, underlining those small moments that make you feel good. “I take some incense and watch porn, so I let off steam / I fill the tub to the brim, Mina in the background (…) I turn the dough, I have bread in the oven / better than Gordon”, reads the text of Truman.
The singer celebrates daily joys, gestures of care and awareness, outlining the boundary between herself and others. The song does not glorify the ego and unbridled individualism; instead, it suggests listening and defining your needs to coexist in harmony with the surrounding world.

Birthh presents “Truman”
When presenting Truman, Birthh tells: “I have always had a lot of difficulty understanding who I am without measuring myself against what others see in me or in themselves. I have often ended up in dysfunctional relationships where I put aside my own needs and dreams to please someone else and look to the outside world for answers that I can only find within myself.”.
Regarding the song, the artist states: “In Truman I wanted to foreground the small joys of my existence to remind me that I can feel good, and that I can do it alone. The community is important, but only if we do not abandon ourselves”.
Truman features a structure based on piano and voice. The atmosphere is intimate and melancholy. The production is deliberately sparse and essential. This is to highlight the warm timbre of Birthh and the confidential lyricism of the text. This choice aims to reveal the most fragile and sincere part of the artist.
Similarly, the artwork of Truman it was designed to visually render an everyday moment in the artist's life. The cover depicts Birthh together with her dog, Blu, during a walk in the neighborhood in the Tuscan hills where she grew up.
