There will be a first time live for Cowboy Carter by Beyoncé, a small Christmas gift to unwrap on December 25th. The album – released on March 29th and never before performed in public – will make its debut during the halftime show of the NFL Christmas Gameday, the match held on Christmas Day in which the Houston Texans will compete this year (Beyoncé's hometown team) and the Baltimore Ravens. The performance will be broadcast globally on Netflix.
The halftime show will be produced by Beyoncé's agency, Parkwood Entertainment and Jesse Collins Entertainment. The press release that followed the announcement said: “Although performance details are top secret, it is to be expected that Beyoncé will bring some of Cowboy Carter's guests on stage.” As a refresher, here are the names of those featured on the album: Shaboozey, Miley Cyrus, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Linda Martell, and Post Malone.
Another big name for the NFL who in recent months had announced Kendrick Lamar as the artist for the halftime show of Super Bowl LIX, broadcast on February 9, 2025.
