anywaymartinathe artist from Brianza who made herself known and appreciated by the public thanks to X Factor 2020, has decided to get involved by participating in Sanremo Giovani 2025 with his Radio Erotikaa decidedly daring song for a similar stage with which she wanted to experiment a lot, attempting to undertake the long road that could take her to the Ariston (despite her little belief in it!) with sounds typical of the world of clubbing. We interviewed her for you.
cmqmartina – The Meaning of “Radio Erotika” and Eroticism
The distinctly electro-pop piece, available on all digital platforms from November 11th and in radio rotation from November 14th, was born “from a night run, a physical and emotional journey between Milan and Cattolica, where nostalgia collides with desire”. The artist said he wanted to transform melancholy into a lucid and fragile electronic beat, creating a hymn to allowing emotions to pass through them without being destroyed by them.
“The piece wants to remain faithful to who I am and what I have always done, it is a jaunty song that represents me a lot” he commented anywaymartinawho then explained to us how eroticism is found above all in the video, where she shows herself as a sensual girl who sings her song into the ear of a man in a car.
The clip, we remind you, is available on the RaiPlay website like those of all the other songs of the remaining 23 artists who will participate in Sanremo Giovani 2025.
Women in Italian Music: A still delicate topic
Another crucial topic that we addressed in the interview was the role of women in the current Italian music industry. anywaymartina expressed a very clear position on this matter, underlining that, in his opinion, not much progress has been made significant (“We will arrive at a solution perhaps only when we stop talking about it”). Her reflection focuses on the need for a deeper cultural change, in an environment that often struggles to fully recognize the autonomy and talent of female artists.
