Benjamin Sainte-Clementine He is a British songwriter, musician and poet. Raised in northern London, during his adolescence he experienced the life of the street artist. It soon became a cult figure in the English music scene, debuting in 2013 in a program of the BBC Later With Jools Holland.
The lucky meeting with Lionel Bensemoun leads to the birth of the Behind label and its debut in 2015 with the album at Least for Now, obtaining Mercury and Victoires de la Musique, French Grammy, debuting in top10 on iTunes in Italy, Holland, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Greece and Poland.
In 2017 he announced his second studio album I Tell a Fly, anticipated by the song Phantom of Aleppoville, in which it is told by talking about the episodes of bullying experienced firsthand. In 2020 he published the song Calm Down and debuted at the cinema as an actor in the film “Dune” by Denis Villeneuve.
On October 28 '22 Benjamin Clementine released his expected third album and I Have Been through his preserve artists label, anticipated by the single Genesis. Benjamin defines himself as an artist whose music is only an element of his creative journey, as shown by his debut as an actor in the role of Herald of the Change in the award -winning film at the Oscars “Dune” by Denis Villeneuve.
