Crevacuore It is the mysterious and secret place where the stories that must end go. Hidden in a pixel cluster, hovering between the analogue trace of a love letter and the electronic radicalism of Mofw's production, is a song made of enigmatic images and an open refrain of a real expression “digital romanticism“.
The video clip of Crevacuore It shows obsessive research on the streets of a digital map. The person behind the computer (or inside?) Is looking for something. Or someone? That neurotic journey seems destined to never end.
Crevacuore is the last act of Barriermoniker with whom Valerio Casanova has released an album (ilodrama) and an EP (abandoning himself), songs of introspection, crossed by a nostalgic desire, stories of love as a discovery of themselves. The title is a quote from a love letter from Cesare Pavese, and so the song is a reflection on writing, on letters, and on the value of the analog sign in the contemporary era.

Who is a barrier?
“My name is BarrierI write songs. I come from Caserta, but I started in exile and now I live between Rome and the cyberspazio. I write about difficult loves, of psychedelic psychologists, of dystopian applications. Maybe I am myself transforming myself into an application. I like rarefied synths, digital glitches and French songwriters. I like cinema, and I like films in which the protagonists speak very little and look very much. When I don't write songs, in fact, I be a filmmaker. Twenty years ago I lost everything, and these words are what I have left. “
Barrier It is the shiny dream of Valerio Casanova, musician, author and filmmaker Caserta, in exile in the south east of Rome. He sings of solitudes and separations, moving in a nostalgic and tract universe. His first EP abandon himself, produced by Blindur, comes out in 2020 for the Wires Records label. In November 2022 Olodramma was released, the first album followed in June 2023 by the “Bundle” edition of Red Desert, single extracted from the album.
