Every decade has its pop king. The 2000s were dominated by Justin Timberlake as he shimmied into the spotlight solo, away from his *NSYNC bandmates. The 2010s belonged to Justin Bieber, the Canadian singer presenting a modern teen icon. So far, the 2020s have been lacking one huge male solo star that reigns over the pop world but, with ‘Golden’, BTS’ Jungkook proves he’s more than up to the task. Known as the “golden maknae” (or golden youngest) of the world-conquering group, the 26-year-old singer has often been spoken about as if he has the Midas touch no matter what…

K-pop trio VIVIZ have made a comeback with their new single ‘Maniac’, from their latest mini-album ‘Versus’. The ‘Maniac’ visual features the group as they take a drive into a dreamy field, where they later dance to the new track. Elsewhere in the video, VIVIZ appear in moody solo scenes as they sing about a turbulent romance. “This love is maniac, maniac, maniac / And I’m okay with it, okay with it, okay with it / In the end, we can’t understand this love either / It’s maniac, maniac, maniac,” they sing in the chorus. In addition to ‘Maniac’, the…
Sheryl Crow will release her next album, Evolution, on March 29, 2024 via The Valory Music Group. The nine-track LP is her 11th studio effort and has been produced by Mike Elizondo. The musician teased the album with an upbeat new single, “Alarm Clock,” which was co-written by Crow with Elizondo and Emily Weisband. The album announcement comes as a surprise since Crow publicly said she would not release another full-length album after her 2018 effort Threads. “Everything is more song oriented now with streaming, and making an album is a huge endeavor,” Crow explained in a statement. “I started sending…

The Masterplan instantly validates its existence by promoting the band’s most beloved B-side into the momentous album opener it deserved to be. Originally appearing on the stopgap “Some Might Say” single released between Definitely Maybe and Morning Glory, “Acquiesce” is the ultimate Oasis song: a sibling rivalry in musical form, a dramatic title-fight showdown between Liam’s swagger and Noel’s sweetness that sees the brothers trading verses and choruses instead of insults and fisticuffs. After Noel had ceded all lead vocals to Liam on Definitely Maybe, “Acquiesce” was the first real sign that the elder Gallagher wasn’t just the silent tunesmith…
On the heels of BravoCon in Las Vegas this weekend, Below Deck Sailing Yacht cast member Gary King posted a message on Instagram alluding to the sexual misconduct allegations against him published in a Rolling Stone investigation, saying he was “canceled because of a lie.” He also said in the comments that he won’t be attending BravoCon. “It’s sad that people will do anything in their power to bring you down. It’s not about how you fall but how you get up,” King wrote. “Luckily for me the fall was into a sea of daisies.” King then wrote a series…
