Andrea Laszlo De Simone announces new special screenings of A Very Long Shadowthe visual poem linked to the album of the same name released on October 17th by 42 Records.
After 21 sold out dates, the artist is preparing for a new series of dates for shared listening and big screen viewing of an album that expands into the vision of a film, a total, intimate and introspective work of art that portrays the human being and his relationship with reality.
A Very Long Shadow
The experience related to A very long shadow saw the birth of a unique way of enjoying a record after its release, intercepting a need and desire to find oneself in a physical place for an opportunity for listening and viewing that is not individual or from a device but in an intimate and collective dimension at the same time.
The project of Andrea Laszlo De Simone was born as an immersive experiment in the geodesic dome at Angelo Mai in Rome on the occasion of the album's release, and continued with screenings in Milan, Bologna, Berlin and Rome,
This is a new opportunity to let yourself be transported by the music and images contained in the new artistic project of the Turin musician, composer and chansonnier.
It will be an audiovisual work in which the filmic dimension is a semantic and sensorial extension of the 17 tracks that make up the album in a contemplative and almost psychedelic succession of epiphanies, between fire and fog, reflections that become images and come to life. Starting from the light, to arrive at the shadows.
