The piece (published for Epic/Sony Music Italy) is a song in collaboration with Guè and, like the Spanish singer’s previous ones, aims to be one of the most listened to of the upcoming summer season.
The piece is actually something slightly different from what many might expect from the artist. Compared to the pounding beat of a piece like Midnightreleased last summer, for this one Aquamarine Ana Mena she has in fact decided to draw on the sounds of the 70s and 80s of a certain Italian repertoire to which she has always been very fond. The end result, despite the presence of a “hard” like Guèis a song with a nostalgic and sweet flavor, perfect to listen to while watching a sunset by the sea.
Furthermore, for the occasion, Ana Mena has decided to turn into a mermaid: the artist interprets being fantastic in the official video of the piece, taking inspiration from the iconic film Splash – A siren in Manhattanwith protagonists Tom Hanks And Daryl Hannah, released in 1984.

The editorial staff of All Music Italia returned to meet the singer a few hours after the release of the piece. Ana Mena he thus told us how it was born and what this piece is about, but also about the relationship with Gué and with all the big names in Italian music with whom he has had the opportunity to collaborate in recent years, from Rocco Hunt to Fred dePalma passing through Federico Rossi.
Ana Menamoreover, he was keen to underline one point in particular. Although her recent success in Italy is born above all in the light of summer hits, this does not mean that she feels “only” an artist for catchphrases. Quite the opposite. The singer is in fact aware of her versatility, while not (obviously) denying a genre that has ensured her definitive consecration in our country as well.
