“But what is it” is the new video clip of Alex Ricci between the hatches of the port and the tools of his laboratory.
“The intention of Bengi (Producer and Frontman of Ridillo) was to reveal how great my passion for guitars was, telling with images the moments in which I sit at the bench among the tools to modify or build, for example the guitar that can be seen in the video and in the cover of the new album “Goals” I built it during Lockdown with my own hands. Changing the light are the beautiful images of the Caliscendi of the port of Giulianova, a magical place that I often visit.
GOALS
“METE” is the third solo album by Alex Ricci and will be published by Freecom and Cosmica with the contribution of Nuovo IMAIE. The album contains multiple sounds and fully represents the vision that Alex Ricci has of music.
During this latest work, a great artistic synergy was born between Alex and the Producer Daniele “Bengi” Benati, almost being able to say that this is an album made together!
Each song has its own identity and its own setting space, a precise but different direction from one track to another. The listener wants to be transported to distant places and sounds: Blues, Soul, Songwriting, Pop, World Music and Folk, different genres that are told through Alex's guitars and voice.
10 songs divided between 7 songs and 3 instrumentals, “Capodatri” is an instrumental song dedicated to the Atri neighborhood (Te) where Alex Ricci grew up, played on the classical guitar aiming for evocative sounds. In “Comu du uè uè” Alice Ricci, Alex's daughter, sings one of her father's songs for the first time.
