Alexander Quarta returns on Saturday 11 October with the remastering in digital format, SACD and double vinyl (limited edition 180 gr.) of his famous album The 5 Elementsnow enriched by the participation of the pianist Giuseppe Magagnino and of theOrchestra of the Italian Philharmonic Soloists.
The album – entirely instrumental – is a evocative musical and filmographic journey which combines contrasting notes: from poignant melancholy to sensual ones, from enveloping melodies to incisive and powerful rock rhythms.
The hero however, the violinwhich dialogues with both the orchestra and the piano, creating a sound fabric rich in nuances, through which the violinist highlights both the positive power that the destructive force inherent in five elementsinviting us to reflect on their necessity and potential dangers, but also on theimportance of taking care of our planet.
“The music of The 5 Elements they tell us everything we are and what we have experienced. They tell about our past, our childhood, failures, joys, memories and nostalgia. Each element of the work evokes the emotions we felt when closing everything in a drawer“, explains the internationally renowned violinist.
