The Traitors has dropped a new trailer for Season Four — and the newest celebrity cast looks ready to wreak havoc and perpetrate some “diabolical deception.”
Host Alan Cumming returns for the fourth season, which is once again set in a castle in the Scottish Highlands, where the contestants compete for a prize worth up to $250,000 all while trying to uncover the “Traitors” among them.
“I’m going to lie and cheat and do whatever I have to do to win,” Love Island USA star Rob Rausch says in the clip. “We are here to capture dirty, deceptive, deceptive Traitors,” adds Michael Rapaport.
“Under the cover of darkness, the Traitors murder the Faithful one by one in a treacherous spree, while the Faithful try to uncover the Traitors and banish them from the game. If the Faithful contestants banish all the Traitors, they will share the prize fund, but if a Traitor (or Traitors) makes it to the end, they will steal all the money,” a synopsis of the plot reads.
Joining him this time around are a mix of personalities, including actors Rapaport and Stephen Colletti, Olympic figure skaters Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski, singer-songwriter Eric Nam, comedian Ron Funches, and Travis and Jason Kelce’s mom, Donna Kelce, alongside some reality show vets. The latter include Candiace Dillard Bassett (The Real Housewives of Potomac), Caroline Stanbury (The Real Housewives of Dubai), Colton Underwood (The Bachelor), Dorinda Medley (The Real Housewives of New York City), Ian Terry (Big Brother), Kristen Kish (host, “Top Chef”) Rob Cesternino (Survivor), Lisa Rinna (The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills), Mark Ballas (Dancing With the Stars), Maura Higgins (Love Island USA Aftersun), Monét X Change (RuPaul’s Drag Race), Natalie Anderson (Survivor), Porsha Williams (The Real Housewives of Atlanta), Tiffany Mitchell (Big Brother) and Yamil “Yam Yam” Arocho (Survivor).
The trailer features the contestants competing in mini games to add to the prize pot — and, of course, plenty of side conversations, whispers, and scheming as they desperately try to uncover who is a Traitor and who is a Faithful.
“Lisa [Rinna] would run her grandmother down,” one contestant notes of the Bravo star. “This is some sadistic shit,” adds Nam.
The fourth season arrives on Jan. 8 via Peacock at 6 p.m PT, which includes three extended episodes. Two additional episodes premiere on Jan. 15, and then subsequent episodes debut every Thursday until the finale. The reunion airs on Feb. 26.
