Four years after the release of his last album POPCLUB, Riki returns with a new album entitled CASABASEwithout however communicating the release date. Everything was announced via a post on Instagram.
Neither the pre save nor the pre order of the album are available yet.
RIKI, “CASABASE”
A few days ago, Riki had hinted that some new record release was now imminent. He made this clear by creating a closed profile on Instagram, with an image on a blue background and the writing “MONDAY”. Furthermore, the following bulleted writing appeared in the biography: «PLPMPCCB» which the most attentive, after careful study, immediately deciphered.
In fact, the acronym «PLPMPCCB» is composed of the union of each initial of the words that make up the titles of his previous albums. In order, in fact, we find: I lose my words, Mania, PopClub. The last two consonants would be missing «CB» but after the announcement, it's clear that they're referring to the initials of the upcoming new album CASABASE.
RIKI, “CASABASE”: REPORT OF HIS PATH TO DATE
The musical career of Riki leaves in 2016 when he participates in Friends of Maria de Filippijoining the team led by Elisa. At the end of the season, despite losing the final clash with the winner of the Dance Category Andreas Müller, he won the Singing Category. During the program, he is discovered by Francesco Facchinetti who later becomes his manager.
In May 2017 he released his debut EP I lose my words under record contract with Sony Music Italyreaching the top of the best-selling albums chart in Italy in that period, remaining at the top for five consecutive weeks. It then went triple platinum.
His second album arrives at the end of 2017 Mania – certified double platinum -, preceded by the single If they talked about us. The following year it was the turn of his first live album Live & Summer Mania which contains, in addition to the previous album, also some unreleased songs recorded in the studio.
In 2019 he released the single Gossip which anticipates his second album of unreleased songs Pop clubsubsequently released in 2020 to coincide with his participation in the Sanremo Festival 2020 with the song We both know it. The single, however, ranked last in the final ranking.
In 2021 and 2022 he released two singles respectively, Excuse me And Ferrari Whitehis latest record release.
To date, Riki he has collected a total of 8 platinum records.
