Adidas Releases New Minecraft Collection for 2025: Where to Buy

The limited-edition collab is kicking off a multi-year partnership for the brands, with the first drop coinciding with the release of ‘A Minecraft Movie’

So we back in the mines…with the Venn diagram of sneakerheads and the gamers slowly overlapping into a circle. Adidas has dropped their first collection with Minecraft, featuring all the brick-filled apparel and you can imagine inspired by A Minecraft Movie.

Catered towards kids and adults alike, the Adidas x Minecraft collab takes patterns inspired by scenes from the film, like the “blue portal landscape” that connects the real world to the Overworld. Some of the designs, such as this Eighties-style pink fringe jacket ala Jason Mamoa’s Garett Garrison character, take costumes from movie and spin them up with influences from Adidas’ archives. Here you’ll find everything from classic shirts and joggers, to sneakers and jackets, all designed in the game’s signature style.

Adidas x Minecraft

The new collection shows off Adidas’ famous Superstar basketball shoe with a Minecraft twist. The classic Three Stripes now have blocky edges and grass-colored pixels that decorate the upper. Available in kids sizes, the collab includes both a lace-up Superstar as well as a velcro version, each with their own bit of Minecraft flair (a Creeper charm on the laces).

This collaboration is also part of a multi-year partnership between Adidas and Minecraft, which in addition to physical merch releases, is also set to include in-game activations. With this launch coinciding with the release of A Minecraft Movie, it’s also one of the few merch tie-ins from the film that have been pretty well received. If you’re not keen on a 12-inch plastic Jack Black action figure, or cursed popcorn buckets, or a “Dennis” the wolf plush that growls, then these slick pixelated fits are a step above the rest (but the official Minecraft Movie store on Amazon is worth giving a look, especially if you have a kid who years for the mines).
