Dumba Records presents the live session of “The market of dazzlers”excerpt from “Distilled Water sings Ribaltavapori – Volume One + Two”an album born from collaboration Between Distilled Water and Steam Lifterreleased on November 7, 2025 digitally and on vinyl.
The live session was shot inside the “covered market” of Trieste, during its opening hoursthanks to the kind permission of the Municipality of Trieste and the management of the markets office. The filming took place inatrium below the characteristic helical ramp – designed in 1935 by the architect Camillo Iona in a rationalist style – thus taking advantage of a fantastic natural reverberation.
That was it shot live: the audio has no overdubbing while the video footage was shot in “sequence plan” in order to make everything as natural as possible.
“The market of dazzlers” is an authentic stream of consciousness in which everything is poured sense of anger against a music industry often made up of attitudes and places devoid of authenticity. Added to this is an intolerance towards the hypocrisy of our time, made up of “vegan burgers and bamboo toothbrushes”, symbols of a superficiality that wears the mask of ethical conscience. However, the song finds its balance in a single certainty: love for a person capable of saving us from the darkest thoughts, a refuge in the midst of chaos, a light that allows us to resist.
“Distilled Water sings Ribaltavapori” it is a project that comes to life from a profound need and the refusal to adapt to the incessant noise of our time. The stylistic choice is proof of this with the singer-songwriter who meets the symphonic music. Written entirely by Ribaltavapori and co-produced with Alessandro Giorgiutti (Sesto), it is configured as a concept which explores current issues such aspollutionit waste and the global warminginviting the listener to a profound reflection on contemporary society.
The Ribaltavapori Pen
Antonio Uras, known as Ribaltavapori, is a singer-songwriter and composer with a dual Sardinian and Catalan soul. He has lived in Trieste for several years, a city which, despite not being his homeland, reflects its essence of border and openness to the world. His compositions are imbued with the beauty and contradictions of these places: the land and the sea, the emotions that emerge like hills from the flat horizon of the fields, and the thoughts that hover in the balance between the piers and the mists of the port, between the pontoons-cranes that can be glimpsed on the horizon. His writing evokes powerful and evocative images, like fragments of life suspended between sky and sea.

The Universe of Distilled Water
Acqua Distillata, with its delicate and almost naive approach, composes intimate and minimal songs, which intertwine fragments of daily life, small discontents and simple joys. His melodies are like whispered tales, read in the aroma of coffee or found in the yellowed pages of the Brothers Grimm fairy tales. His music creates dreamlike and blurry atmospheres, offering the listener a refuge from the daily noise, like shelter on the porch during a summer storm. His lyrics, delicate and profound, are messages kept in bottles to be left adrift in the vast sea of emotions.
