A 17 year old wanted to take a massacre at the first concert of the Oasis reunion.
The boy, whose identity was not unveiled for legal reasons, wanted to emulate Axel Rudakubana, who in 2024 killed three girls at a Taylor Swift -themed dance lesson in Southport and was then sentenced to 52 years in prison. The arrested boy wanted to welcome as many people as possible at the July 4th at the Cardiff's mainty Stadium and appeared at the Westminster Magistrates' Court on June 21st. His case will be judged by the Crown Court.
The 17 -year -old was trying to buy the right knife online. According to reports the Timeswas reported to the police by a person with whom he exchanged messages on Snapchat. The young man had seen a psychologist on June 2 at the suggestion of the family members worried about him. The psychologist reported the boy to the authorities when he expressed admiration for Rudakubana.
The 17-year-old had done research on the Southport killer, saved images related to the massacre and mocked the victims, as well as having saved an al-Qaeda training manual, the only thing that has amended in front of the magistrates. However, there would be no reason for now to consider his project from a legal point of view as a terrorist act.
