“From the top to the bottom”, says an old song by the Linkin Park entitled Forgotten. Today they sing Up From The Bottom. It is the title of the first piece published by the group after the release of From zero And it will be contained in the deluxe edition of the disc which will be released on May 16 and will contain in total three new and five live songs recorded in 2024.
Up From The Bottom It is accompanied by a video directed by the turn -up of the band Joe Hahn. “I try to escape”, Sing Emily Armstrong, “but there is no place to go, I look from the bottom up, from the bottom upwards”.
“Between one tour and another,” said Mike Shinoda by presenting the piece, “we saw ourselves in my study. As we listened to the demos, they all agreed on the fact that we didn't have the song we needed. Meanwhile, I put some notes down. When they left, I started putting the pieces together on the piano. For days I tried to make quietly obsessively sketched ideas, until something special has begun to prove to be ».
The other new pieces contained in the Deluxe edition are Let you fade And Unshatter. They both come from the session of From zerounlike Up From The Bottom which was engraved after the first live appearances.
The Linkin Park will be at the I-Days in Milan on June 24th.
