War on Drugs are about to release a new live album. On September 13, nearly four years after their previous “Live Drugs,” the Adam Granduciel-led band will release “Live Drugs Again.” The first taste of the album is a live version of Lost in the Dream's “Burning.” Listen below.
The War on Drugs recorded “Live Drugs Again” on tour between February 2022 and December 2023. “The album chronicles the evolution of these songs from the studio to stages around the world, documenting our continued growth as a live band,” said frontman Adam Granduciel – This collection ensures that these versions and some of our favorite onstage moments will live on.”
Next week, War on Drugs will kick off their Zen Diagram Tour, as co-headliner with The National. They'll be performing music from their latest studio album, 2021's “I Don't Live Here Anymore,” and more.
