Bologna, Turin and Milanimportant squares, only touched on in the previous tour. This time the band presents itself with an important novelty: the first original single, entitled “No! (No, No, No, No)”a reggae song that addresses issues related to the current geopolitical situation.
The balance of the first tour of The Originals it was so positive in terms of numbers and appreciation within the group that it was decided to evolve the project into a larger evening.
The three dates announced will not be simple concerts, but real event evenings, designed as a real Christmas party, divided into three distinct moments; a warm up DJ seteach city will host a different DJ who will take care of warming up the atmosphere, at the Estragon in Bologna there will be Pier Tosi, journalist and historic radio DJ passionate about reggae music; DJ Piddu is expected at Hiroshima Mon Amour with a set of calypso, original ska, rocksteady and early reggae while DJ Ciappo will be at Magnolia with his selections that mix punk with reggae music; The Originals live show where the band will bring on stage the best of the repertoire of the two original formations with the addition of the new single; it then ends with the Dub Clasha sonic comparison between Madaski and Paolo Baldini, undisputed precursors of the Italian dub scene, who will compete with dub in Turin and Milan while in Bologna Madaski will meet SPK known for his dark and introspective sets that lead the listener to immerse themselves in the sounds that are mixed in real time.
“Making programs in music today is important” – explain the members of the group – “We have not stopped having our say. The world of music has changed profoundly, but continuing to have ideas and bring them to fruition is a way to grow together with those who listen”.
After an initial phase of concerts based on a sort of “best of” of the two groups, “No! (No, No, No, No)” marks the beginning of a new creative phase for The Originals; that of shared production, of multi-handed writing, of collective artistic growth.
With these three special dates and the release of the first original song, The Originals send a clear message: it's not just about music but a cultural and human project. Three concerts for those who want to live an out-of-the-ordinary live experience, where reggae, dub, rocksteady and social commitment blend into one big party.
Ticket pre-sales for Bologna, Turin and Milan are currently open.
“No! (No, No, No, No) develops on an idea by Pat Cosmo to which the artistic contributions of Bunna and Madaski have been added, who also developed a powerful Dub Version of the song. The result? A track that combines the distinctive sounds of the two bands. The single was originally supposed to be part of the new Bluebeaters album (out in autumn 2026), with a participation from Africa Unite but, after the reworking of the base by Madaski, the piece took a new and shared direction, officially becoming the first single signed by The Originals “No! (No, No, No, No), will be published in the next few weeks by Caribb Roots Records, a label with which The Bluebeaters have released several 7-inch vinyl singles and which acts as the parent company for the projects of this family of musicians.
