How Does ClassPass Work? Plans, Pricing & Free Trial
ClassPass works on a credit system. You receive a certain amount of credits every month, depending on what plan you choose, and then you use those credits to sign up for classes. Class pricing is a bit unpredictable, as studios set their own pricing and some have deals going on, but generally expect to pay around 8 to 12 credits per class.
There are four ClassPass plans available: 15 credits for $35 a month, 28 credits for $59 a month, 38 credits for $79 a month, and $100 credits for $199 a month. If you need more credits before the next month starts, you can also add additional credits anytime.
When you sign up for the free trial, you get 28 credits. If you don’t cancel or change anything, your membership automatically renews with the 28 credit plan at $59.

Class Pass Benefits
I’ve been a ClassPass member for a couple of years, and I’m a big fan for a few key reasons. The first is the service’s biggest sell: flexibility. I like cycling, yoga, and boxing classes, and ClassPass lets me keep up with all three simultaneously.
I also love ClassPass as a rut-breaker. Every few months, like most of us, I get bored with my workout routine. Plus, it’s best for your body to surprise it with new movements and skills. With ClassPass, I can sample new things and avoid another membership fee when I find what I’m looking for.
Another way to use ClassPass that isn’t talked about as much is for non-fitness wellness experiences. In some cities, you can use ClassPass for spa activities like massages and meditation classes, as well as beauty appointments like manicures and hair treatments.
