Candle company homesick just announced a limited-edition partnership with popular fast-food chain KFC (yeah, you heard that right) to bring a line of savory and sweet candles to your kitchen. The collaboration comes just in time for the holidays, where the nostalgic aromas of baked goods and family dinners are sure to bring back festive memories
Inspired by KFC’s “secret recipe of 11 herbs and spices,” these candles are available in two comforting scents: Bucket of Chicken Candle and Buttery Biscuit Candle. In addition to the candles, the collaboration also features a Bucket of Chicken Car Air Freshener, so you can get the smell of the second-largest chain restaurant in the world wherever you go.
KFC isn’t the first brand to cook up a collaboration of food-scented candles. We’ve also seen partnerships between Diptyque and Café Verlet, homesick and Dunkin’ Donuts, Pop-Tarts and GooseCreek Candle Co. All of which are great gifts and stocking stuffers to give to your foodie friends and family this holiday season.
You can shop the entire Homesick and KFC drop below, as well as on homesick.com.
Savory option
KFC Bucket of Chicken Candle
Colonel Sanders approved, the Bucket of Chicken Candle will fill any space with an aroma of garlic, fried chicken, and oregano. Made with non-toxic and cruelty-free ingredients, it has a burn time of up to 80 hours and comes in a reusable glass jar.
sweet pick
KFC Buttery Biscuit Candle
If you’ve ever had KFC’s buttery biscuits (and if you haven’t, hop in the car right now and go get some) then you know how tantalizing the smell—and taste—can be. With notes of vanilla, honey, and buttermilk, this candle gives you that same fresh-out-the-oven experience in your own home.
Perfect gift
KFC Bucket of Chicken Car Freshener
Some people hang pine-scented air fresheners in their car, others put up an air freshener that smells like fried chicken: I’m not saying one is better than the other, actually, I am—the fried chicken is. Not only can you now take the savory smell of KFC with you on your drive, but you can also gift this to your friend so they can too.
