On the occasion of LINECHEK FESTIVAL and of MILAN MUSIC WEEKfrom Thursday 21st to Saturday 23rd November in MILAN at BASIC (via Bergognone 34), the preview of the exhibition will be held MARKY GOES MENTAL in which the marker drawings of will be exhibited MARKY RAMONEhistoric drummer of RAMONESanimated through the technology provided by the application Notaway. The exhibition is curated by the creative company REBEL HOUSE and from HENRY RUGGERI.
The inauguration will be held on Thursday 21 November at 4.00 pm and Marky Ramone will also take part.

The preview includes a collection of seven felt-tip pen drawings made by Marc Steven Bell, drummer and member of the historic American punk rock band Ramones known to the general public under the pseudonym Marky Ramone That, for the first time, he takes on the role of a graphic artistcatapulting viewers into its colorful and rebellious world, in full post-punk style.
The exhibition project, in addition to being a small homage to the artist, takes advantage of the Augmented and virtual reality support, of artificial intelligence and all the new tools related to web 3.0 through the technology provided by the application Notaway. All you have to do is frame the drawings to see them come to life, come to life in swirling plays of color and listen to musical excerpts from Marky's songs that have marked his career.
MARKY RAMONE
Born in New York in 1956, Marky Ramone is an American drummer, known for having been a member of the Ramones from 1978 until the group disbanded in 1996. Before being part of the Ramones, he was also the drummer of Richard Hell & The Voidoids and of Dust, demonstrating his ability to play with one heavy metal style. In parallel to his career with the Ramones he recorded two albums with his group Marky Ramone and the Intruders. In 2000 he collaborated with Joey Ramone for the creation of his solo album, “Don't Worry About Me”. Between 2001 and 2005 Marky Ramone also worked with another historic punk band, the Misfits, in their modern formation, participating in the recording of the album “Project 1950”. In 2002 Marky entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for being a member of the Ramones. In 2004 he took part in a Ramones tribute concert for the 30th anniversary of the founding of the band (immortalized in the documentary film “Too Tough to Die: a Tribute to Johnny Ramone”), along with Henry Rollins of Black Flag, Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols, Tim Armstrong of Rancid, Brett Gurewitz of Bad Religion and more. In 2008 he collaborated with the Canadian punk band Teenage Head for the album “Teenage Head with Marky Ramone”, while in 2011 he played with the band Avenue X for the homonymous EP produced by DJ Ringo of Virgin Radio. Between 2007 and 2018 he returned to Italy for several live shows, also with his new band Marky Ramone's Blitzkrieg.
