Available on all digital platforms from Wednesday 6 November 2024the band's new single Reform: a long-awaited and timid return for the Grosseto band active in various forms since 1990, which materializes in the publication of the very personal version of the song by Samuele Bersani,”My Words“. The idea of giving life to this cover came from the band's singer, Luca Berti. Heard it for the first time, by chance, on the radio, he fell in love with it instantly, he was particularly struck by a strong feeling of artistic and emotional belonging, so much so that during a solo trip to Puglia, he listened to it continuously for the entire duration of the outward journey (8 hours).
From there, today, after having been proposed to the rest of the group and then creating their personal version, it will be published on all streaming platforms, with the production of Alex Marton (Firstline Productions). The single will also be accompanied by a video (directed by Elio Di Magno and Silvia Marianucci), shot entirely in the Maremma and in some of the trio's childhood places, trying, with respect and delicacy, to give their interpretation of the text through images, hoping at the same time to have maintained the original soul of the song.
REFORM
THE Reform were born in 1990 in the city of Grosseto, as a pop/rock quartet of covers of international artists (Queen, The Police, Radiohead, Jimi Hendrix, Tori Amos, Moby…) subsequently becoming composers and authors of unreleased Italian songs, with 4 self-produced albums active.
Since 2005, training has stabilized at three elements: Luca Bertifirst solo voice of the group (vocals/bass), Luca Brandini (guitar) e Simone Giulietti (Drums). Over the years the band has gained great live experience, from small pubs to large squares, both nationally and internationally (Barcelona, Madrid, Malta, Morocco, Tunis, Palma de Mallorca, Prague, Berlin, London). Worthy of note are some participations as “open-acts” and various collaborations with artists such as Jennifer Batten, Luca Barbarossa, Fausto Leali, Walter Savelli, Liliana Tamberi, Francesco Telonio, etc…
