Fontaines DC played a cover of Say Yes to Heaven by Lana Del Rey. It happened on the BBC Radio 1 programme Live Lounge. Moreover, the band's singer Grian Chatten has never made a secret of being a fan of the singer-songwriter.
Say Yes to Heaven It's not one of Del Rey's best-known songs, as she released it as a single last year after the release of Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Boulevard, despite not being included on that album.
It wasn't even a recent piece having been composed with Rick Nowels in 2012 with the idea of including it in Ultraviolencewhich then didn't happen. Del Rey posted it when the song was leaked and started to become popular on TikTok.
