After the glorious period with the Red House Painters, Kozelek has established himself in the musical panorama as one of the most important singer-songwriters of the last 30 years. Cathartic melodies, at times melancholic, settle into his most profound compositions, giving the public a story without superstructures. Almost as if in a psychoanalysis session with himself, the American artist's songs undertake a path that starts from themes linked to the personal sphere and leads to universal assumptions.
In his work, lilting rhythms, with magnetic power, are the masters, capable of bringing out the indie folk matrix that pervades them. His poetics, difficult to find in other singer-songwriter projects, is that trademark that has allowed him to gain wide acclaim from international critics over the years, reaching the heart of directors such as Paolo Sorrentino who wanted him for the creation of the soundtrack of “Youth ”.
The tour, organized by Ponderosa Music & Art, will leave on November 14th from Borgo Santa Brigida on the occasion of Barezzi Festival and will continue November 15th at the Space Theater 89 Of Milan. The singer-songwriter will then perform on the stage ofSan Rocco Auditorium Of Senigallia (AN) The November 17th and finally to Monks Of Rome The November 18th.
