Fresh from their debut with “Killjoy” (via Chess Club Records), Coach Party will pass through Italy to present it live on the stages of the Arci Bellezza in Milan and the Covo Club in Bologna. The young indie-rock band that grew up on the Isle of Wight attracted general interest among live at important European festivals (Glastonbury, Rock En Seine or Great Escape), playlist covers (Spotify, BBC Music, Rough Trade) and positive reviews from the press (NME, Dork, The Guardian). Their music has been described as “poppy, witty and experimental”, but they draw inspiration from a wide range of artists – such as Nirvana, Sonic Youth and the Strokes – as well as contemporary projects such as Wolf Alice, Big Moon and Tame Impala. Coach Party's main thrust is to write and perform music inspired by the “often funny struggle of real life.”
