Lopez is joined on stage by rappers Latto and Redman for the first single, and later returns for the title track of her upcoming album
Jennifer Lopez returned to Saturday Night Live first with a performance of “Can’t Get Enough,” the lead single from her upcoming album, This Is Me…Now.
Lopez, who last appeared on SNL in late 2019 as host and most recently performed music on the late night show back in 2010, was joined on stage by rappers Latto and Redman.
This Is Me…Now is Lopez’s sequel album to 2002’s This Is Me…Then. A press release from last year described it as chronicling “the emotional, spiritual and psychological journey that she has taken over the past two decades,” with Lopez adding that her marriage to Ben Affleck–who she had been seeing while writing songs for her 2002 album—helped spur the creative process.
The album’s release will coincide with a film of the same name.
Lopez’s second song of the night was the title track for This Is Me…Now.
Lopez’s most recent musical production was with singer-songwriter Maluma for the soundtrack to the 2022 rom-com Marry Me, in which they both starred. Her last studio album was 2014’s A.K.A.
