Matteo Agostinelli, guitarist and singer of Yuppie Flu, has died. He was 48 years old.
Agostinelli, originally from Ancona, passed away in his home in Bologna, where he had lived for a long time. He leaves behind his wife and two children.
With Yuppie Flu, a band he founded, he played from 1997 to 2009, before returning in 2021 with an EP. In its career, the band had also had excellent success abroad, also collaborating with the famous Rough Trade Records and bringing the sound of Italian indie-rock to an international level.
The causes of death are not yet known.
