«Since Saturday we have put the last tranche of tickets for Ye's concert on sale on Ticketmaster. We would like to inform you that the price change between December 2025 and February 2026 is linked to an update of the sales conditions, with the aim of making the event more accessible and supporting sales in the last part of the commercial window”.
As is known, tickets went on sale on Saturday 14 February for the Ye/Kanye West concert scheduled for 18 July at the Hellwatt Festival which will be held at the RCF Arena in Reggio Emilia at a lower price than the pre-sale price in December. The organizers have now released a new press release which contains the methods for requesting compensation.
«We understand that those who purchased in December perceive the price difference as penalizing, which is why we have decided to activate a compensation system. Anyone who purchased a ticket for Ye in December can check whether it is included in the compensation by filling out the form or by emailing customer care. We want to reassure you that all emails will be processed within a few days.”
The press release specifies that «the compensations include the partial refund of the ticket or the crediting of equivalent benefits (early entry, access to pre and after parties)». To request compensation you must fill out a form (you can find it at this link) and you must do it by 15 March 2026, entering your ticket data. «The compensations will be credited by April 30, 2026». The email address to write to for information is customer.care@hellwattfestival.com, but requests must still be forwarded via the online form in which you must choose, among other things, the type of compensation requested: partial refund or upgrade to an equivalent or higher category.
In a first post that was later deleted and circulated online, the organizer wrote more explicitly that the change was due to the rapper's “sudden announcement of new European dates”. The concert on July 18th was in fact supposed to be the first in Europe after over ten years. In the meantime, however, Ye has announced a show on June 6 in Arnhem, the Netherlands, making the Reggio Emilia concert less attractive especially for Northern European audiences.
