“I'm not dying!” said Dee Snider after Twisted Sister canceled their 50th birthday tour last week due to the singer's health problems.
Health problems (there was talk of arthritis) which worried fans and gave rise to rumors according to which the singer could die. This is why Snider, on his radio show House of Hairintervened to block any possible wrong rumor: «I'm not dying! Not never: that is, we will all die, but I won't die any time soon.”
«Heart problems, arthritis, things like that… rumors started circulating that I was dying, but it's not true. I simply can't do the things I did in my 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and even 60s anymore. Okay? For the rest I'm fine and enjoying life.”
“You won't see me on stage giving my best anymore like I did before, it would destroy me,” explained Snider. «So I had to leave Twisted Sister, I had to cancel the tour, I'm very sorry. And thank you for all the love, concern, concern and everything else. It was crazy to see how many people showed their love, it was beautiful, thank you so much for encouraging me. I'm fine, I just can't do it anymore.”
