Agony is the title of the new album by Chielloout on March 20, 2026 and already on pre-order. The album is released digitally and released in physical format: CD (standard and signed) and vinyl (standard, signed, and colored transparent). Inside, there is the song I always think of you with which the artist is competing at 76th Sanremo Festival.
Agony is a concept album, consisting of 11 songs. The album cover is a photograph of Todd Hidotaken from the collection House Hunting made of color and black and white images of American suburbs. The choice of the cover is not random, but is a preview of the imagery and atmospheres that characterize the songs on the album.
The scenarios of Hido they are solitary, mysterious, suspended between comfort and restlessness. His photographs depict interiors of terraced houses and night views of similar homes. The human presence is only suggested: the glow of a television turned on, a light bulb, a window illuminated in the dark. These images evoke a silent and persistent melancholy. The everyday becomes something intimate and poetic.
In Agony, Chiello narrates this imagery in music. Dig into the deepest veins of the human being. Explore fragility, loneliness, desire and emotional introspection.
