Before dying is the title of the new album by Marco Simoncelliavailable on all digital platforms and in physical format. The album was preceded by the single The singer-songwriter Lucio.
The album has a strongly singer-songwriter nature; and due to the themes covered, it can be considered as a concept album. In the nine songs that compose it, Simoncelli expresses a counter-current thought. Sing your dissent towards standardized situations, stories and opinions.
The lyrics of Before dying they are dense, ironic and deeply critical. Marco Simoncelli use sharp and uncompromising words. From a musical point of view, the album offers elegant and multifaceted music that crosses pop, jazz, soul, rock, reggae and gospel. The ideal references of Simoncelli are found in the sounds of Lucio Dallain the texts of Francesco Guccini and in the interpretation of Sergio Caputo.

Discovering Marco Simoncelli's album, “PRIMA DI MORIRE”
The album opens with The Circusa counter-current jazz-prog piece that invites reflection and which can be considered a programmatic manifesto. But don't tell me combines reggae and jazz with a close dialogue between voices and trumpet. Of Love and Politics it is a slow jazzy, intimate and whispered, supported by the piano.

Marco Simoncelli announced the first presentation dates of the album. On these occasions, the public will be able to learn about and listen to the songs of Before dying.
