Tenth Sky come back with Compassnew single out on Friday February 6, 2026 on all digital platforms for Bomb Discs / WEA / Warner Records. After Replaythe song continues a path that seems less linked to the “single of the moment” and more to a precise phase: writing and sound calmly focused, without the rush of having to explain everything immediately.
Who is Tenth Sky
Tenth Sky (Riccardo Mari, born in 2005) is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer from the province of Rome. He's on the roster Bomb Discs and was selected in the project Spotify RADAR in 2022. After the EPs Stupid Things And Pink Sheetreopened the most recent chapter of his journey in November 2025 with Replaytoday followed by Compass.
Compass: doubts, relapses and repeating circles
The starting point is emotional rather than narrative. In Compass the voice flows like a continuous outburst: doubts, fears, emotional paranoia, faltering friendships and that typical sensation of certain moments of transition, when you realize that you are returning to the same point even if you thought you had left it. It is a song that focuses on cyclicality, rather than telling a linear story.
Even the way it was born says a lot: a work built firsthand, “in the bedroom”, with the urgency of transforming a confusing period into something concrete. The artist writes, sings and self-produces, and here this artisanal dimension becomes part of the emotional rendering: a soft contemporary pop, with R&B nuances and a dreamy lo-fi taste that focuses on atmospheres and textures, on that type of intimacy that doesn't need to raise your voice to be noticed.
Among the references accompanying this new course appear Mk.gee And Dijon: useful coordinates for understanding the direction, but without transforming the piece into an exercise in style. More than the “genre” label, what matters is the idea of a lived, imperfect, emotional sound, where the guitar guides and accompanies the piece without filling it.

The new chapter next Replay
So the singer-songwriter says Compass:
“For me, Compass is a journey into the labyrinth of my emotions, an intimate story of a new period in my life in which I am rediscovering myself. In this transition phase, I question all my certainties, getting lost in a spiral of paranoia and doubts. In the end, however, I realize that I am the one who always repeats the same mistakes and, like a compass, I am destined to only trace circles, stuck in an infinite cyclical nature from which I cannot find a way out”
With Compass the new course started with Replay takes further shape: fewer “statements”, more details, more writing, more identity. And above all the feeling that this is not an isolated passage, but the orderly beginning of something that is coming.
