About the song, Alberto Urso tells: “This collaboration with Gigi D'Alessio was born in 2020, when he called me to propose a new version of Non dirgli mai. It was a special version, rearranged by Adriano Pennino, and he asked me to sing it together. For work reasons I wasn't able to go down to Naples to record and the project stopped, leaving me with great regret”.
The tenor reveals: “After some time, I felt the need to release this song and Gigi, with great generosity, gave me this opportunity again. In recent years, a beautiful friendship has also grown, made up of presence and precious advice. Gigi is an artist I deeply respect: a complete musician, author and performer. Never tell him is a fundamental song for his career and is also one of my favorites. When I heard the orchestral arrangement I fell in love with it and couldn't wait to sing it with him”.
