“Le cose non Detto” was published today, the original song written and performed by Mahmood for the film of the same name by Gabriele Muccino, released in theaters on January 29th. The song, produced and directed by Paolo Buonvino, had already appeared in preview in the official trailer and marks the Milanese artist's first experience in the field of soundtracks.
“Things Unsaid” accompanies a film that Muccino based on the novel “Siracusa” by Delia Ephron, who also wrote the screenplay together with the director himself. The cast brings together Stefano Accorsi, Miriam Leone, Claudio Santamaria and Carolina Crescentini, supported by Beatrice Savignani and Margherita Pantaleo.
The song does not simply accompany the images, but dialogues with them, becoming a narrative component that amplifies the sense of restlessness and introspection that runs through the story.

The story follows Carlo and Elisa, an established couple living in Rome, apparently solid but crossed by invisible cracks. He is a university professor and writer in a creative crisis, she is a journalist who is also esteemed abroad. A trip to Morocco with friends Anna and Paolo and their teenage daughter Vittoria becomes the context in which unsolved secrets emerge, tensions never addressed and glances that question consolidated balances.
The entrance of Blu, Carlo's young philosophy student, adds further questions and tensions, while the relationships between the characters tense and transform into a warm, still and distant landscape.
