The Louisville-born rapper Jack Harlow appears to have another potential hit on the way. Harlow plans to release a new single “Lovin on Me” this Friday.
The announcement arrives after Harlow teased the new music in a clip, which features the rapper swaying his hips and rolling his arms while he appears in a white-draped set. A snippet of the song is featured at the end, with Harlow rapping the line, “I’m Vanilla Baby,” over a catchy beat and hook.
With a Kentucky-based tour beginning this month, the “Whats Poppin” rapper has been keeping busy. He was recently featured on BTS member Jung Kook’s debut album, Golden, on the bubbly tune “3D.”
In August, Harlow also released the music video for “Denver.” The track is a deep cut from his third studio album. The accompanying video includes picturesque landscapes as he reflects on the impact fame has had on his life.
“I feel all this pressure to live up to what they tell me I’m gon’ be,” Harlow raps. “So I isolate myself, you can’t help me it’s on me.”
Harlow’s latest album, Jackman, which arrived in April, followed 2022’s Come Home the Kids Miss You. The 15-track album featured his hits “First Class,” “Nail Tech,” and “Dua Lipa.”
In search of apparent quieter pastures, the April 2022 Rolling Stone cover artist is embarking on a six-city No Place Like Home tour that solely features stops in his home state of Kentucky. The tour begins Friday, Nov. 24, in Owensboro, and ends Sunday, Dec. 3, in Lexington.
