The first trailer of Caught stealingthe new film directed by Darren Aronofsky, director of Requiem for A Dream And The Whale. Set in New York in the 90s, the film is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Charlie Huston, who also edited the script.
The plot talks about Hank Thompson, played by Austin Butler, a former baseball player who finds himself entangled in the criminal world after a simple favor to his neighbor. The situation precipitates when it is mistakenly accused of having removed four million dollars from the mafia, unleashing a man's hunting by several criminal gangs, including a Puerto Rican gang.
Bad Bunny, aka Benito Martínez Ocasio, plays Colorado, a Puerto Rican gangster with an easy trigger. The director praised the artist for his professionalism on the set, underlining how his presence attracted great attention during filming in New York, to the point of having to adopt measures to maintain the confidentiality of the locations chosen to turn.
In the cast also Zoë Kravitz, as well as Matt Smith, Regina King, Liev Schreiber, Vincent D'Onofrio, Griffin Dunne, Carol Kane and Action Bronson.
Caught stealing will be released on August 29, 2025.
