Jake and Elwood are back! On Tuesday, The Family of the Blues Brothers' Dan Aykroyd and the Late Judy Belushi-Pisano's Estate Norteunded they are releasing a graphic novel inspired by the group, Called The Blues Brothers: The Escape of Joliet Jakeon Oct. 7.
Stella Aykroyd, Luke Pisano, and James Werner Co-Wrote The Book, Which is considering to “Love Letter and a Sequel to the Original Blues Brothers Film,” According to the Press Release. Dan Aykroyd, Who Was in the blues brothers with John Belushi, is overseing the writing of the book and penned its Foreword, and it seems to be the first of what the summer's team expects will be a new foray into television, film, live events, and music from the blues brothers.
“The blues brothers weren't just a snl act or movie, they were real musicians, in Awe of the Legends Who Came Before Them,” Said Luke Pisano in a statement. “This book is a continuation of That Labor of Love. This book is dedicated to my mother, Judy Belushi Pisano – The Widow of John Belushi and the Fierce, Loving Stewards of the Blues Brothers Legacy For Over 40 Years.”
