Out from Friday 29 November on all digital platforms the new recording project by Cloud “Eight thousand hours“, For Ocho, independent label, publisher and management.
The title of the project was given by the artist because it corresponds to the time he took to write the album, containing eight tracks that represent his entire inner world.
Cloud she moved to Milan and started thinking about the new album at that moment: “Changing cities turned my life upside down, I found myself putting in order things belonging to the past, building for the future and managing the present affected by everything that a new city has to offer, work, people, different landscapes. A period of time in which I have never felt so alone, but not in a negative sense, alone as the creator of my future, committed to becoming the person I want to be.” says the singer-songwriter.
In all the songs Cloud shows her personal growth and her introspection, they are in fact eight autobiographical tracks, which tell the story of the first months spent in Milan, and the human relationships undertaken in that period: loves, friendships but above all the relationship with herself.
The focus track of “Eight thousand hours” And “Authentic“, a song that talks about the feeling of not feeling up to par in a relationship, as if the other person wants us to be different from who we are, leading to discomfort that doesn't make us feel good. Nuvola talks about authenticity towards oneself and finding the courage to let go of the relationship, despite disappointment and pain.
The album will be premiered live at a special exclusive showcase at Detune of Milan, Thusee 28 November.
